Awesome Ideas

This is my favourite kitchen appliance at the moment! It cooks chickens perfectly in just 90 mins.. All the fat drains into the black tray at the bottom so it makes hardly any mess.


The smaller prongs are for other meats like lamb, pork or beef. You wouldn't be able to do a huge roast as it needs room to rotate but in my house there is only me and my son so it is perfect for us as we only get small sized roasts anyway.


It also comes with 6 kebab skewers but I haven't tried these out yet.

I have only had chicken and lamb so for and both are delicious. You don't need to keep a close eye on it or remember to turn the meat over. It cooks itself and as it only heats a small area it is quicker than using the oven..it is an Awesome Idea.

Here in Australia we are in the midst of a serious drought and most states are on water restrictions. As a result lawns and gardens are suffering! Most people are aware of grey water hoses. They allow the water from the washing machine to be pumped out on the lawn instead of down the drain. Brilliant idea but the water tends to pool in the one spot and if your place is like mine the hose has to run over a large area of verandah before it even reaches the lawn!
Look at the pic and guess how far my hose reaches!!!

Nice and green in one strip and still half dead for the rest of the lawn!

Now on the market is this Awesome Idea:


The hose fits on to the end of your grey water hose and it has small holes along its length to release the water along the length of the hose. It is only 2 metres long but you can join an extra one on to reach further. It also makes the ground nice and soft. Hopefully soon all of my lawn will be green. Off to do another load...
