Hi, I am the CEO and Co-Founder of Refurber.
If I had to rate myself on how good a "handyman" I am it would be around a 3 out of 10. I am ok with tools (due mainly to sailing and helping dad around the house whilst growing up), however my motivation levels are very low when it comes to these types of things. I would much rather pay someone else to do it, than do it myself, as I am better off doing something else.
Anyway, I guess Refurber is not just DIY (lucky for me), it is also about planning and renovating etc.
Apologies in advance... my advice here is going to be pretty basic, but maybe that is a niche I can fill on this site
