We are a couple testing their renovating skills, our house is 12 years old and we were sick of the country style kitchen. We got quotes off kitchen crowds and thought they were blown out of proportion. Hence we have bought the tools and wood and are giving it a go ourselves.

Our next projects are ;

• lay bamboo flooring over our existing compressed chipboard sub floor 
• paint internally, chaning the limed window frames to high gloss white
• paint and change the colour of the ceiling and walls
• the list is still growing, as we are enjoying spending the weekends together with our 4 kids upgrading the house. It's hard work, but  is very satisfying to say we did it ourselves.  Hence we will become regulars to this site.
