Oh, that's not even half of it!  We  had 14,000 square feet of drywall!  It was one of only two jobs we hired contractors for, the foundation and the drywall.  Both very important tasks and not to be taken on by the novis.  This house is 5200 sq feet  (including the garage)  and three floors.  The ground floor is an apartment for my folks.  Then we have a main floor and a loft master suite.  The worst part about all that scrap is that it rains a lot here and when drywall gets wet it is a huge mess!

Crikey I thought I had a lot of plasterboard left behind but that's insane. How much drywalling did you have done to have that much mess left behind?
