I am a first home owner as of 30 August this year (2007) but I have lived in this house for the past 6 years. (i bought it from the landlord) The best thing about this, besides not have to shift again, is that I knew what needed doing and have had a few years to think about what I would like to do!
I am also a single Mum to a 7 year old boy so we are on a limited budget for the renos and with the help of my Dad, on his days off, will be doing the majority of it myself. |
